CCNC is pleased to report an important new initiative that will support its ongoing mission to support primary care and improve health in communities across the state. CCNC has entered into an exciting strategic partnership with Med First Primary and Urgent Care and its 27 locations across North Carolina with the goal of strengthening independent providers serving medically underserved and rural communities.
Envoy Capital Advisors acted as the exclusive strategic advisor to Community Care of North Carolina.
The strategic partnership enables Med First to remain independent and will support CCNC’s efforts to broaden support for CCPN practices, including new revenue cycle management options and additional “back office” assistance. Med First’s expertise in these areas will help CCNC expand these services to other practices in CCPN.
As the largest North Carolina-based independent primary care practice partner, Community Care of North Carolina’s commitment to community-based healthcare in this state runs deep and strong. CCNC wants to ensure independent practices continue to control how they operate and ultimately impact their communities now and in the future.
Med First Primary & Urgent Care is a healthcare provider that operates clinics in North and South Carolina. It has a “hybrid” model that offers both primary care and urgent care services.
